Rosary around Switzerland
We in Switzerland all well know the story of how through the intercession of Bruder Klaus we were spared the physical devastation of WWII. His hands were seen in the air holding back the invading forces and stopping them completely, foiling their evil plans.
It is time we invoke our patron saint to once again protect us from the onslaught of this horrible virus ravaging our country and our world. Let us pour out our hearts to our dear Lord God begging He once again allow Bruder Klaus to protect the Vaterland and the whole world. And, what prayer would be better than that of Bruder Klaus:
My Lord and my God, take from me everything,
that keeps me from you.
My Lord and my God, give me everything
that brings me closer to you.
My Lord and my God, take me away from myself
and give me completely to you. Amen
And let us not just say this prayer once, but often. Indeed, it might be efficacious to repeat this prayer on the 50-beads of the Holy Rosary, similar to the 50-bead prayer string Bruder Klaus always had with him.
Through this prayer, we pray God gives Brother Klaus the grace to once again hold his protective hands over not only Switzerland, but all peoples and countries and put a quick end to this virus.
