Words to our Swiss National Anthem-
Swiss Psalm (1st and 4th verses)
When the morning skies grow red
And o'er their radiance shed,
Thou, O Lord, appeareth in their light.
When the Alps glow bright with splendour,
Pray, free Swiss, Pray,
For you feel and understand,
For you feel and understand,
That he dwelleth in this land.
That he dwelleth in this land.
(1st-verse)
Towards us in the wild storm coming,
You yourself give us resistance and stronghold,
You, almighty ruling, rescuing!
During horror and nights of thunderstorms
Let us childlike trust Him!
Yes, we feel and understand;
Yes, we feel and understand;
That God dwelleth in this land.
That God dwelleth in this land.
(4th-verse)
Prayer of Bruder Klaus
My Lord and my God, take from me everything that keeps me from You.
My Lord and my God, give me everything that brings me closer to You.
My Lord and my God, take me away from myself and give me completely to You.
The Golden Arrow
(a short, powerful pray of reparation)
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most mysterious and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in heaven, on the earth and under the earth, by all the creatures of God and by the Sacred heart of our Lord Jesus Christ in the most Holy Sacrament of the altar.
Consecration Prayers
The word “consecration” means to be set aside to be made holy, to be used by our good God for His purposes. Priests and other vowed religious have consecrated their lives to God in a very special way. We, as lay people, can consecrate ourselves as well. However, because we are moving through this world as single or married non-religious, our consecration is somewhat different and matches our life’s calling.
Following are examples of several consecration prayers to Jesus, Mary and for our Country. An act of consecration may be made in one’s own words or by reciting any one of the many acts of consecration available. Choose one that suits your heart and soul, and say it, daily.
Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate before Your altar. We are Yours, and Yours we wish to be. But, to be more surely united with You, behold, each of us freely consecrates himself today to Your Most Sacred Heart.
Many, indeed, have never known You. Many, too, despising Your precepts, have rejected You. Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Your Sacred Heart. Be King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken You, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned You. Grant that they may quickly return to their Father’s house, lest they die of wretchedness and hunger. Be King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions, or whom discord keeps aloof, and call them back to the harbor of truth and unity of faith, so that soon there may be but one flock and one Shepherd.
Grant, O Lord, to Your Church, assurance of freedom and immunity from harm. Give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: “Praise to the Divine Heart that wrought our salvation- to It be glory and honor forever!” Amen.
Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, and tender Mother of men, in accordance with Thy ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to Thy Immaculate Heart myself, my brethren, may country and the whole human race.
Reign over us, Most Holy Mother of God, and teach us how to make the Heart of Thy Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ reign and triumph in us even as It has reigned and triumphed in Thee.
Reign over us, Most Blessed Virgin, that we may be Thine in prosperity and in adversity, in joy and in sorrow, in health and in sickness, in life and in death.
O most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven, watch over our minds and hearts and preserve them from the impurity which Thou didst lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. Assist us in imitating You in all things, especially purity. Help us to call down upon our country and upon the whole world the peace of God I justice and charity.
Therefore, Most Gracious Virgin and Mother, I hereby promise to imitate Thy virtues by the practice of a true Christian life without regard to human respect.
I resolve to receive Holy Communion regularly and to offer to Thee five decades of the Rosary each day, together with my sacrifices, in the spirit of reparation and penance.

Amen.
Consecration Prayer for Switzerland
Written by Fr. James Manjackal
Omnipotent eternal God, we thank You and praise You for creating us according to your image and for putting us on this beautiful planet. You have entrusted us to your son Jesus Christ, who through his suffering and death on the cross has given us salvation.
Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, we thank You for giving us your Holy Spirit to guide, direct and lead our lives according to God's plan.
Holy Spirit, together with all men on earth I ask You to renew the face of the earth, illuminating our hearts with your wisdom to live for God's sake, and to love God and our neighbor.
Jesus our savior and redeemer, today here and now, I join with all government leaders and citizens of our country Switzerland. I accept You as the Lord and King of our nation and consecrate myself and our land to your most Holy Heart through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Holy Mother.
We pray that with the Holy Spirit over us and our land, You will rule in justice, harmony and prosperity through our obedience to the commandments of God and the observance of the values of life and morality according to the Word of God that is handed down to us in the Holy Scriptures.
Amen.
